Snowmass Base Village is a mountain-resort development located just outside Aspen. Baker provided the total-package concrete work for the first phase of development, which included underground levels, foundations, superstructure, rebar, and hoisting. The climate and location presented a unique set of challenges for the project 黑料社. The area averaged 300 inches of snow per year, requiring the Baker 黑料社 to implement special procedures and precautions to safeguard ongoing construction from severe weather. In addition, the resort鈥檚 remote location required the 黑料社 to ship many resources from Denver, a four-hour drive away.
